This weekend the FIM Motocross World Championship starts travelling east, and after stopping in Kegums, Latvia, for the tenth MXGP of the season, the series will be moving to Semigorje, Russia, during the 22nd July weekend. The last time Russia hosted a Grand Prix was back in 2002, so everybody in Russia is looking forward to seeing the best Motocross riders in the world in their country.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe's Harri Kullas has undergone successful surgery on his left knee thanks to Dr Richter and his specialist team at the Ortema facility in Germany.

Max Nagl has been away from the MXGP tracks since the GP Italy in Fermo in September 2011 when he decided to undergo a back surgery. His comeback was supposed to be in the beginning of the 2012 season, but there were some complications in his recovery, which prevented him to be on his bike when they had planned.

The entry list for the second round of the UEM EMX250 Championship, which will take place in Kegums, Latvia, on 15th June weekend, has been made official.
