KEGUMS (Latvia), 13 July 2012 – The Latvian Grand Prix will take place this weekend in Kegums, Latvia, and the whole event will be broadcasted live and delayed.

With the Russian Grand Prix less than two weeksa week away we thought it might be a good idea to take a quick look at the history of Motocross in Russia. Russian Motocross racers have had big success in the early days of their participation in the FIM World Motocross Championship.

Former World MX1 and MX2 Champion Steve Ramon has always been somebody who did things 100% and his recovery from his serious injury during the Grand Prix of Belgium last year has shown just what a committed rider the Belgian is.

KEGUMS (Latvia), 12 July 2012 – The FIM Motocross World Championship comes back in action this weekend in Kegums, Latvia, to celebrate the tenth out of sixteen Grand Prix of the season. After the Grand Prix of Sweden, where Clement Desalle took the red plate from Antonio Cairoli and Tommy Searle cut his distance with Jeffrey Herlings, so both MX1 and MX2 championships are wide open.

Swiss talent Jeremy Seewer had the opportunity to take part in the MXGP of Belgium, which took place in Bastogne during the 17th June weekend, as a wildcard and he turned his first ever MX2 world championship race into a broad success. The 17-year old, which took the silver medal last year at the FIM Junior World Championship held at Cingoli, Italy, impressed by finishing twice in the top twenty.
