MATTERLEY BASIN (Great Britain), 17 August 2012 – The Grand Prix of Great Britain will take place this weekend at Matterley Basin during the MXGP Festival, the biggest Motocross event in the history of the sport, and the whole MXGP will be broadcasted LIVE and delayed.

MATTERLEY BASIN (Great Britain), 16 August 2012 – The MXGP Festival is already a reality, as three out of the ten classes taking part at the event started racing today at the British track. The paddock of Matterley Basin is completely full, as all the FIM MX1 and MX2 riders arrived today in order to take part in the thirteenth Grand Prix of the FIM Motocross World Championship during the 18th and 19th August.

MATTERLEY BASIN (Great Britain), 15 August 2012 – The MXGP Festival is about to start at Matterley Basin, the track is ready and the paddock is getting full with the almost 400 riders who will take part in such unique event. There will be four days of racing starting already on Thursday including up to ten classes, and if you want to live the MXGP Festival from the inside, you are still on time.

With the Olympic Games being held in London, England, at the moment the whole country is in sports mode. When the Grand Prix of Great Britain arrives at the Matterley Basin circuit and the biggest off-road event in the 2012 Motocross calendar does come to life on August 16 until the 19th, there will be a number of riders who will be in the spotlight.

With five times World Motocross Champion Antonio Cairoli winning his 50th Grand Prix last weekend in Loket, Czech Republic, I had to think back to 2001 when 10 times World Motocross Champion Stefan Everts picked up his 50th GP win at the Namur circuit in Belgium.
