FUNCHAL (Portugal), 16 October 2012 - UEM and Youthstream presidents met on the 9th of October in Geneva to comment the results of the just finished sporting season and to evaluate possible news to be introduced in 2013.

With the 2013 FIM World MX1 and MX2 Championships starting early in March, riders will be enjoying taking the months of October, November and December off before starting their full-on training and riding in January of 2013.

The MXoEN 2012 in Pyrogovo was just amazing! Even though the weather was not tempting with soft rain and wind, 14 national teams were supported by huge crowd. Moreover Ukrainian team reached the third place so they did what they promised and repeated their result from 2009. Victory of the MXoEN went to Team Italia as well as the gold plate for the best rider in EMX1 class, David Guarneri. The Slovenian team missed the first place tightly but as revenge Time Gajser won the EMX2 class and received a gold plate. EMX OPEN class saw Evgeny Mikhaylov from Russian team as leader after two amazing heats.

KIEV (Ukraine), 13. October 2012 – As the UEM Motocross of European Nations is taking place in the Ukraine´s capital city Kiev, riders couldn’t miss the chance to visit this beautiful metropolis. Youthstream in cooperation with the local Motorcycle Federation took them to the city centre of Kiev, one of the oldest cities of Eastern Europe located on banks of the Dnieper River.

KIEV (Ukraine), 13. October 2012 – On qualifying races of the UEM motocross of European nations Slovenian’s riders were the best classified as Tim Gaiser won the EMX2 class and Irt and Gercar were in top five of their classes. Italian team with amazing Davide Guarneri obtained the second place and Estonian riders finished third. Even though Latvia had an advantage of balloting to choose the starting place for qualifying heats as the first, their team reached just the seventh place. In evening all 14 teams went to the city centre of Kiev to be presented to public crowd.
